I had been going to Puerto Vallarta for several years, multiple times a year, and fell in love with it's beauty. Vallarta is a paradise with breath taking views and a wonderful landscape, but the local folks make it a memorable experience. I searched for a few years before finding the perfect location. I am so happy to have a home in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Don't believe everything you read or hear on TV-- Vallarta is one of the safest places in Mexico. If it weren't I would not live here. PV is located approx. 1,200 miles from the border.
